Richard Goddard founded his goldsmith shop in Maynard in 1974. Prior to that, his passion has always been working with precious metals and gems. He attended the Museum School of Fine Arts where he concentrated on Metal Smithing.

In 2013, his son Adam joined him after helping out part-time for several years. Adam also majored in Fine Arts at the Gemological Institute of America. Today, they run the business together and create some of Massachusetts finest jewelry; a passion they have both been doing for their entire lives.
